No apparatus necessary. You can do this at home!
(Of course, you can do this with some or all apparatus, too!)
You’ve studied some or a lot of anatomy, but what do you do with it? How do we take a bit of anatomy knowledge and turn it into something useful for our teaching and training? That’s what this workshop is all about! When you look at a client move, can you “see” what is moving and what is not? What is and is not “working” to make that movement? Do you know what to feel and why? Do you know what images will help your clients make the appropriate muscular engagements? What hands-on cues will really help your clients? It’s time to know! That’s what this workshop is about!
We’ll delve into common and unique movements in Pilates, understand which muscles do what, how to know what’s working or failing, how to cue! This is for all styles of the Pilates method: classical, contemporary, therapeutic…it’s all the same! Movement is movement! And…does this apply to personal training, yoga, etc? Of course! Again: movement is movement!
Would you like an anatomy lesson or review before this?
Before X-ray Vision, do Basics of Anatomy!
Give more to your clients! I’m happy to share!
