To Stretch or Not to Stretch with Shari Berkowitz
Our entire lives we’ve been taught to stretch those tight muscles! We’ve been taught that stretching is good for us! “They” tell us that everyone needs to stretch!
Is this so? If it is…wouldn’t it work better? Why do we get so tight? Why does it seem that we need to stretch all of the time. Why don’t tight muscles or joints seem to loosen up? Do we really need to stretch? There’s interesting researched evidence about what to do and what not to do and why! In this workshop, I’ll share all and how we can make the most of stretching or not stretching…how we can increase elasticity while decreasing the damaging effects of a lot of what we’ve been taught about stretching.

Fascia: What you really need to know (and what you don’t) with Shari Berkowitz
Ooh…Fascia! Everyone is fascinated by fascia. Sure sure…there’s a lot to be fascinated by; however…what do you really need to know? And how do you apply that knowledge to your current teaching? Do you need to add a lot of new exercises or do you need to understand the human body and how to make the most out of your current method? Please spend some time with me on this subject. It is my pleasure to share what we really need to know about fascia and how to make the most of that knowledge!
